Join us at Combermere Abbey for a special Autumn Family Dog Walk Day this October.
Calling all Following the success of our Bluebell Walk earlier this year, we’re delighted to welcome visitors back to explore a scenic 2-mile circular walk through the ancient woodlands at their own pace. Whether you’re bringing the whole family, meeting friends, or simply enjoying a Sunday stroll with your four-legged companion, it promises to be a wonderful seasonal day out.
Dog Show hosted by Steve Leonard*
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be joined by Steve Leonard, who has recently set upPheonix Vets in Nantwich, and is well known to many as a wildlife presenter and local celebrity. Steve will be hosting a fun, family friendly Dog Show during the afternoon. Bring your canine companion along to take part in the fun, with classes for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities!
* Entry for the Dog Show is separate and payable on the day

Event Details
- Date: Sunday 11th October 2026
- Time: 12pm – 4pm
- Tickets Available to book online: Adults – £5.00, Children under 16 – £2.50
- Location: Combermere Abbey Estate
- Route: 2-mile circular walk through ancient woodlands, self-paced – Appropriate footwear required
- Dogs: Welcome, on leads
- Picnics: Not permitted
- Refreshments available to purchase on the day
Children are very welcome, although the woodland paths are not suitable for prams or pushchairs.
Free parking is available onsite, entrance through the main gates to Combermere Abbey
Whether you’re local to the area or discovering Combermere Abbey for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you for a beautiful Autumn walk.
Please note, online ticket sales close 48 hours prior to the event, but you’re very welcome to join us and pay on the day.
