Head of Housekeeping

Job Description: 
To ensure that our self-catering holiday cottages and wedding & events venues are cleaned and maintained to 5-star standards.

To ensure the efficient running and co-ordination of the operational aspects, ordering items as required and undertaking stock takes, including adequate supply of linen for change-overs.

You will be responsible for managing a team of housekeepers and undertaking regular reviews along with recruitment to ensure that a team of staff is available to call on.

Managing the setting up and break down of weddings, events, parties etc.

You will work in liaison with the maintenance team to ensure all repairs and renewals are undertaken.

Organising deep cleaning of the cottages and venue spaces on a regular basis.

Maintaining excellent financial control of budgets.

High attention to detail is required.

Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is essential, along with computer skills. 

Full time position (40 hours a week), worked 5 days over 7
