Step into a little romance at Stone Lodge, a charming Gothic gatehouse built in the 1830s and designed by Morrison of Ireland. Set at the entrance to the Combermere Abbey Estate, this characterful retreat offers a wonderfully private setting for couples looking to enjoy time away together.

With its own private entrance, enclosed garden and large sunny terrace nestled within a beautiful damson orchard, Stone Lodge is made for slower days and special moments. Soak beneath the open sky in the stunning outdoor bath, enjoy a quiet morning together or settling in for a cosy evening beside the woodburner-style electric fire.

Sleeping up to four guests, Stone Lodge also offers flexibility for smaller families or friends, but its intimate atmosphere makes it particularly special for a romantic break for two.

With its large, fully enclosed garden, Stone Lodge is also a lovely choice for guests bringing their dog. There’s plenty of space for them to enjoy the outdoors before settling in beside  the woodburner-style electric fire.

This cottage features a ground-floor double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, alongside a twin bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom. Sleeping up to four guests, Stone Lodge is particularly well suited to couples looking for a little extra space and privacy.

When you feel like exploring, there are plenty of nearby towns, welcoming country pubs and restaurants to discover, as well as beautiful gardens and countryside walks. Or simply enjoy the peace and privacy of your own little corner of the Combermere Abbey Estate.
