This charming gothic gatehouse, built in the 1830s, was designed by Morrison of Ireland and sits at the entrance to the Combermere Abbey Estate.
It is a romantic getaway cottage with a private entrance and car park, a large sunny terrace set within its own damson orchard, and beautiful trees surrounding it.
With a large, fully enclosed garden, Stone Lodge is the perfect dog-friendly cottage. It allows them to run outside before curling up in front of the delightful wood-burning stove.
Featuring a ground-floor double bedroom with an ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to four but is best suited for two.
Full of character, Stone Lodge is the perfect base for exploring the the nearby market towns, local pubs and restaurants and world-class gardens or simply enjoying a peaceful escape in the local countryside from the everyday.
