What’s on at the Abbey

Combermere Abbey invites you to explore its historic setting and beautiful gardens through a programme of special events and guided experiences. From our much-loved Annual Bluebell Walk on Sunday 3rd May 2026, when the ancient woodlands are carpeted in vibrant colour, to the Spring Garden Open Day on Thursday 11th June 2026, showcasing the seasonal highlights of the grounds, there are many opportunities to enjoy the Estate at its finest. Alongside these special events, visitors can also discover the story of Combermere through our expertly guided tours.

We offer a range of personally led Abbey Tours to suit a range of sizes and interest, from our Public Tours (available throughout the Spring months), ideal for couples, individuals, and small groups, to private Group Tours for larger special interest groups (pre-booking is required). For a tour with a difference, Invitation to View Tours, in partnership with Historic Houses, includes tea & cake with Combermere Abbey owner, Sarah Callander Beckett.
