The ground floor

From the car park, you approach the cottage down a gentle path and through a small private garden with a trellis overflowing with honeysuckle.

Entering the ground floor sitting room with its comfortable sofas, dining area and fireplace with electric fire, the quiet tones of sea greens and greys, painted panelling and contemporary paintings invite you to relax.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with bespoke cabinets, cleverly separated from the open plan style living/dining room by an original panelled stall divider. A second entrance door leads straight into the original cobbled courtyard.

In addition, the open plan living space and width of the original stable doors throughout the ground floor, Stapleton Cottage is suitable for less agile guests and wheelchair users.

“A lovely location for a get away from it all Christmas. Fantastic accommodation and beautiful scenery”

The first floor

The first floor bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with padded headboard in warm blues and taupe and an en-suite bathroom.

The twin bedroom with its striking gothic beds and furniture painted in Caribbean colours is completed with roman blinds in a bold blue and white fabric. The bedroom has a contemporary tiled en-suite shower room, specifically designed for assisted disabled guests.
