As part of Historic Houses, Invitation to View was created specially to welcome those with a keen interest in architecture, history and heritage into the privately owned houses and enjoy a chance to meet the owner. Come alone or with friends, it’s very easy to arrange!
Combermere Abbey is one of Cheshire’s pre-eminent houses with a spectacular 900-year-old history and enjoy an experience unlike any other in the company of the owner Sarah Callander-Beckett herself. Following your tour, as honoured guests, you will be able to sit and enjoy refreshments in the abbey, whilst having the opportunity to ask all the questions you want. Hear all about the gossip and scandal and meet other heritage buffs and exchange views.
