Opening in 2026, The Bothy at Combermere Abbey will offer a stylish second preparation space just steps from the Glasshouse. Once a gardeners’ rest area, it’s being transformed with mirrors, storage, a Chesterfield sofa, vinyl lounge with turntable and records, dart board, shower and toliet – perfect for giving both partners their own place to get ready and relax before the ceremony.

Empress

Named after Elizabeth, Empress of Austria, who described Combermere as “one of the most romantic places in Europe”, Empress Cottage is just that! With an open-plan sitting/dining room, high ceilings and a welcoming woodburning stove, this two-bedroomed cottage and its private garden and dedicated parking area are perfect for your countryside escape.

Poole

COSY AND INVITING – SLEEPS 4

Poole is a cosy and inviting bolthole. Its rustic appeal is perfect for anyone needing to relax and recharge. With a linked sitting room and dining room with original doors onto the courtyard, this cottage sleeps up to four people but can accommodate dining for up to eight when booked with another cottage. A separate entrance with an outside terrace leads from the dedicated parking space.

Malbanc

ELEGANT AND IMPRESSIVE – SLEEPS 8

Malbanc is an elegant and airy cottage that is very popular for entertaining. With space for up to eight people, Malbanc is perfect for families or groups of friends and can also seat up to 12 people for dinner when booked with another cottage. Its elegant design and impressive architectural features will make it an instant hit.

Callander

Decorated in elegant, modern, contemporary colours, this two-bedroom cottage, Callander, recognises the Scottish ancestry of Combermere’s owner, Sarah Callander Beckett. With its entrance cleverly disguised in the impressive coach house doors, Callander is a light, contemporary cottage with private terrace space.

Stapleton

CONTEMPORARY ELEGANCE – SLEEPS 4

Originally the tack room of the Combermere Stables, Stapleton, which sleeps four, has been cleverly designed to integrate the characterful features throughout this two-bedroom space. With an open-plan living space, a downstairs twin bedroom and an ensuite wet room, this cottage is an ideal choice for guests with limited mobility.

Beckett

FAMILY TIME – SLEEPS 6 / DINES 20

Uniquely decorated with a dramatic African theme, Beckett is the perfect choice for family gatherings and celebrations, sleeping up to six people. There’s also the option to gather up to 20 in its elegant and spacious dining room with high ceilings, large windows, and architectural and original beams. A well-equipped kitchen and outside private terrace offer a versatile space to gather.

Crossley

SPACIOUS AND VERSATILE – SLEEPS 10

Formerly a complete wing of the original stables, Crossley has been transformed into a luxurious, modernised cottage that sleeps up to ten people. This cottage features five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath or shower room. It boasts a large eat-in kitchen and a separate sitting room with an entertainment study next door. Easy access from the car park and private garden makes this a popular for larger groups.

Cotton

A former Coachman’s house, Cotton is a very popular two-bedroom cottage with impressive views overlooking the rolling parkland and a private garden. This architecturally unusual building is decorated with historical references to earlier Cotton family connections and has a wood-burning stove, quirky antique furniture, and decorations.

Keepers Cottage

The Pavilion
