Where love grows

Combermere Abbey will soon be offering some incredible new features to make weddings in 2022 extra special. We can’t wait to have everything in place and show you exactly what will be yours if you have your wedding day here. So to get a better idea of what’s taking place and to see it first-hand, why not book a visit today?

While we don’t have all the final details on how everything will look at the moment, we will share them with you as soon as we do. Make sure to check this page regularly and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get all the latest updates.

Keeper’s Cottage

A setting of tranquillity and seclusion just a few steps from the garden gates. Where the excitement builds as you dress and prepare.

Keeper’s Cottage is being transformed from our team’s office into a remarkable place for you to enjoy with your loved ones on the morning of your wedding. Step inside and you’ll find a well-equipped dressing room complete with full-length mirrors, make-up stations and plenty of natural light, and a lounge where you can relax and share some quality time with your loved ones as you put the finishing touches to your look.

The Glasshouse

A unique space to exchange your vows at the heart of lush walled gardens. Where the outside comes in and birdsong fills the sky.

The Glasshouse will soon be blossoming into a truly breathtaking place to say ‘I do’. A decorative tree adorned with birdcages will provide a stunning focal point, mirroring the idyllic views of the gardens and woodland that envelope the space. Light, airy and truly one of a kind, a ceremony in the Glasshouse is one that will never be forgotten.

The Pavilion

A dedicated space for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. Where the party starts and memories are made.

The Pavilion will be undergoing a renovation too, freshening up the lounge area and creating a more welcoming location for you and your guests to enjoy after you’ve tied the knot. While featuring touches of art deco style, the Pavilion will still provide a wonderful blank canvas for you to make your own. We are also exploring a brand-new Pavilion for 2023, keep an eye on this page for further updates!

In-house Catering

Impeccable service from start to finish, and the very best food and drink to accompany your special day. Where it is more than a meal, it’s an experience.

We take pride in the food, drink and service that we provide at Combermere Abbey, and we are now delighted to say that we are bringing our catering and events management in-house. This means we can guarantee the very highest standards through every part of your day and provide you with delicious options from start to finish. So whether it’s imaginative canapés and cocktails in the gardens, a breathtaking menu of seasonal dishes for your wedding breakfast, or the most tempting wood-fired pizzas in the evening, you can expect the very best from us for your big day.

The Garden Kitchen

A place to unwind and rest dancing feet. Where guests gather and tastebuds are treated.

Evening food plays a huge part in your reception, and we will soon be adding the Garden Kitchen to Combermere Abbey to take your festivities to the next level. Our chefs will serve up a wide range of favourites as you and your guests look on, giving you the chance to recharge before heading back to the dancefloor.

It’s an exciting time at Combermere Abbey and we would love for you to come and find out more about what’s happening and explore the venue for yourself. You can keep up to date with the latest developments on Facebook and Instagram, and why not arrange a personal show round today?
