Civil Ceremonies
Amidst the walled gardens of Combermere Abbey, surrounded by a fruit tree maze, lies the Edwardian Glasshouse.
This magical space seats up to 150 of your loved ones and is perfect for wedding ceremonies throughout the seasons. The light and airy space offers views across the gardens, bringing the outdoors in, and will leave a lasting impression on your guests.
Outdoor wedding ceremonies
At Combermere Abbey, we understand that each couple’s dream wedding is unique. That’s why we offer the flexibility to exchange your vows in the heart of our fruit tree maze or within the serene walled garden, allowing you to create the perfect outdoor ceremony that reflects your individual style.
Religious ceremonies
There are a number of pretty churches in the local villages surrounding Combermere Abbey.
If you would like to marry in a church or another place of worship, we would be delighted to welcome you to Combermere Abbey after your ceremony for your wedding celebrations.

Keeper’s Cottage
Keeper’s Cottage is a place for you to enjoy with your loved ones on the morning of your wedding, just outside the garden gates.
Step inside, and you’ll find a well-equipped dressing room complete with full-length mirrors, makeup stations, and plenty of natural light. There is also a comfortable lounge where you can relax and spend quality time with your loved ones as you put the finishing touches on your look.
If you’re feeling peckish, choose from a selection of delicious grazing boards to share whilst sipping a glass of champagne with your loved ones.
