We have completely reimagined and modernised The Pavilion to create a stunning setting for your wedding celebrations
We want to provide the best possible backdrop for your day, one that embodies romance and magic, and creates an unforgettable experience for you and your loved ones.
The rich, natural beauty of our grounds has always been at the heart of Combermere Abbey, and our updated space reflects that by bringing the outside in. The new design creates a natural flow between the gardens that wrap around The Pavilion and the inside, with its blue colour scheme creating the feeling of open space and complimenting the rustic tones of the decor.
The wedding reception space features exquisite new mirrors, bathing the room in even more light and offering reflective views of the surrounding gardens. An inviting lounge area features stylish seating and soft furnishings. This space offers your guests a comfortable space in which to relax and unwind throughout the evening, whilst only a few steps away from the bar for refreshments.
Sitting at the heart of the magical Walled Gardens you’ll find the Edwardian Glasshouse
This light-filled space has recently been transformed with a decorative tree adorned with blossom and birdcages at its centre, offering a wonderful focal point for the Glasshouse whilst connecting it with the surrounding gardens and woodland perfectly.
Keeper’s Cottage has been fully renovated to become a relaxing and luxurious spot for you to enjoy with your loved ones on the morning of your wedding.
Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped dressing room featuring full-length mirrors, make up stations and plenty of natural light. You can enjoy getting ready with your loved ones in here whilst putting the finishing touches to your look.
The Terrace & Outdoor Kitchen
Alongside The Pavilion updates, we’ve refurbished the terrace area. Our skilled kitchen team will entertain you and your guests as they cook your fresh, inventive evening food from our Outdoor Kitchen.

We have made lots of progress this week in the Pavilion 🤯 The bar back and tops have been stripped out, ready for the new oak tops and LED steps to go in place. The walls were prepped, and the boards have been fitted, for a fresh clean base before we start the wallpapering. And bespoke mirrors are in the process of being built as we speak!
